Campaign & Events Executive

We are seeking a driven candidate who is proactive, creative and collaborative – and who simply loves to communicate with people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a diverse role in an extremely well renowned Irish business. This role is a unique mix of campaign & event management, as well as sales support and event administration. Previous experience in sales support, event management, marketing or sales is an advantage but not a requirement.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Event planning, project management and delivery across our mix of b2b exhibition, briefing and awards events.
· Work with our event exhibitors & sponsor partners – directly and indirectly with our commercial and content teams – to ensure their participation is a success.
· Prepare multimedia presentations for our own events, as well as to attract sponsors, exhibitors and other stakeholders across our portfolio.
· Create, coordinate and deliver effective marketing and email campaigns across our own outbound activities, as well as on behalf of our customers.

Who we’re looking for:
· A candidate with an interest in developing their career across the full spectrum of modern media, including digital, events, social and print.
· Previous experience demonstrating strong project management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
· Highly efficient and organised with acute attention to detail.
· A sound understanding of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as the Google environment, including Gmail, Drive, Forms, Analytics & Ads.
· Digital marketing skills including email marketing software like MailChimp, as well as project management tools like Trello.
· Great team spirit and the ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
· A degree in a marketing or events management related field would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Mediateam Editorial & Online Content Assistant – Intern/Trainee Role

Mediateam is offering an internship on a flexible basis.

This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic, pro-active individual who is interested in pursuing a career in journalism and professional content generation. The successful candidate will be working mainly on online and will be mentored and guided by a skilled and respected industry leading team.

The chosen candidate will have particular responsibility for helping to generate content on one or more of our market leading print and online products. There will be an opportunity for the direction and production of professional video content in the business to business space. The chosen candidate will learn about our house styles, production planning, deadlines and all of the other competencies that contribute to our award winning magazines, newsletters, websites and events:

Non essential, but preferred experience:
Has worked as part of a team
Interest in video production, editing and web publishing

Typical responsibilities include:

Uploading and proofing website content
Writing and editing news stories and features in the publication’s house style
Ensuring work is well written, accurate and submitted to deadline
Keeping up-to- date with trends and developments
Representing the company at seminars, and events.
Working with a small team to ensure excellent content is delivered on time
